Do It Yourself Perfume Kit from Bramble Berry

Filed under: Perfume, Sarah's Surprises — Sarah @ 12:13 pm

This week we’re focusing on kits that would make great gifts.

Our first kit is the Do It Yourself Perfume Kit, $24.95 from Bramble Berry.

The kit includes perfume base, 3 different fragrances, 4 small perfume vials, 12 rollerbolls, fragrance test strips so you can test the fragrances, and a perfume booklet.

I actually won the Sweet Confections D.I.Y kit from Smelly Chick’s Online Soapmaking Resource a while ago, and I was really excited.

The three included fragrances, Vanilla Select, Dark Rich Chocolate, and Mayan Gold all smell great alone, and I’m sure I’ll have no trouble coming up with some great combinations.

I haven’t played with my kit yet, but it looks like a lot of fun.

If you’ve tried this I’d love to know what you think about it.

What combinations of fragrance did you use?

How did they turn out?

If you know of any other kits that would make a great holiday gift let me know!

Wylde Ivy Summer Perfume Scents

Filed under: Perfume, Sarah's Surprises — Sarah @ 7:12 am

Wylde Ivy Summer Perfume OilsWhat could be better than a lovely summer perfume oil?

These oils from Wylde Ivy are made with a jojoba oil and coconut oil base, and come in your choice of scents.

I think I’d go for the Sandcastle or Pink Strawberry Citrus.

Of course at $8 each I could get both.

If you’re not into Summery Scents in your perfume oils, Wylde Ivy has a variety of other scents, as well as several other perfume scents.

If you’ve tried Wylde Ivy I’d love to hear what you think.

I’d also love to hear what scent you’d pick, so leave a comment and tell me.

Flame Works solid perfume

It’s been so long since I’ve tried a solid perfume (scroll down), but these cuties from Flame Works, which come in scents like Black Raspberry Vanilla, and Heavenly Blue Lotus Flower, just might put me in the mood.
