Where do you store your jewelry?

Where do you store your jewelry?

Right now my bracelets and rings are in a jewelry box that I was given as a gift, and my necklaces are still in the boxes they came in.

I’ve been seeing lots of jewelry chests lately, and since I’ve still got a lot of my baby girl’s stuff in my chest where I store my jewelry, I’ve been thinking that I need to figure out a better way of storing them pretty soon.

Even before I started sharing my space, I occasionally had trouble finding the necklaces I wanted to wear, although to be honest, rearranging stuff so I could fit diapers in the chest made it easier to find things.

Of course now that I can find them, I don’t feel comfortable wearing them because I’m scared the baby is going to pull on them and break them!

I’ve always been scared of the ring trees, because I am scared that if the rings are touching each other they’ll all get scratched.

Where do you store your necklaces? Rings? Bracelets?

Do you worry about them getting scratched or tangled?

Kahili Creations Etailer Review

Filed under: Jewelry, Sarah's Surprises — Sarah @ 11:46 am

I mentioned on the forums that my husband surprised me by buying me something at the end of September - unfortunately with the posts for Breast Cancer Awareness month I haven’t gotten around to telling you more about it until now.

Jeff bought the Lilo 2 necklace (similar to the Lilo 3 necklace, $22.50) from Kahili Creations, and I absolutely love it!

The custom made leaf box that accompanied the neckace is just as beautiful as the necklace.

I still keep the necklace in the box because I think the box is so pretty.

Shipping was fast, especially since the package shipped from Hawaii, and Jeff was just as pleased with the ease of the Etsy transaction as I was with the necklace.

I would definitely recommend purchasing from Kahili Creations, and I’d be pleased to receive more of their jewelry.

Put the lime in the coconut

Put the lime in the coconut - Palm Tree Pendant from Sophisticated Fun 28

Put the lime in the coconut - Palm Tree Pendant from Sophisticated Fun 28

As the first flakes of the day twinkle and shine like silver in the sunlight - I start wishing I was somewhere a little more tropical.

Ok, I really didn’t wish I was somewhere else until I saw this gorgeous palm tree etched in dichroic glass.

It just makes me wish I was somewhere warm, where the green grass wasn’t covered by the slightist whisper of snow.

Water Goddess Necklace

Filed under: Jewelry, Sarah's Surprises — Sarah @ 9:43 am

And from one Liv’n Good Jewelry we have a beautiful Water Goddess Necklace.

I love the way you can just see the water goddess on the pendant.

Through the end of October 50% of the price of any item sold from Liv’n Good Jewelry’s Jewelry for the Cure Section will be donated to the Susan G Komen Foundation supporting breast cancer research and education.

And remember, for every comment you leave on the blog through October 30, I’ll be donating $1 to the Susan G Komen foundation.

All you have to do is leave a comment - but I’m not going to do it without you - if no one leaves a comment, then I’m not donating any money :-).
