I asked Jess, from Liebling Designs to share why breast cancer awareness was important to her, and this is what she said.
“Well, I have been personally affected by breast cancer. In my early twenties my doctor found a lump in my right breast and I went through multiple procedures and tons of stress and anguish to find (thankfully!) that it was harmless. Nevertheless, it was the scariest thing to ever happen to me and without the funding that is out there the research and procedures wouldn’t have been possible!
Not only has this affected me, but I also have friends who have lost their mothers to breast cancer as well as coworkers that are survivors. It’s truly a cause near to my heart to support funding for research and treatment of breast cancer.”
