DaenaOrtego Daisy Pendant

Filed under: Jewelry — Sarah @ 8:22 am

DaenaOrtego's Daisy PendantLooking at this beautiful daisy pendant, $8, it’s hard for me to believe that it’s hand painted.

I love the contrast between the fresh daisy and the antiqued finish.

Oh - and if you’re a mask fan, be sure to check out the DaenaOrtego Etsy shop. She’s got some beautiful ones.

Busy Bee Candle Shop’s Goats Milk Soap Review

Busy Bee Candle's Goats Milk Soap

I received a Honey Ginger Goats Milk Soap from Busy Bee Candle Shop in my Lemming Central Sampler.

The soap was a very beautiful rose color, with a crow cutout on top of the soap.

Although the soap was packaged as a Honey Ginger soap, for some reason it smelled like cinnamon to me, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly.

Sugarelle Chunky Scrubbie Bar Sample

Filed under: Bath and Body, Sarah's Surprises — Sarah @ 9:48 am

I received a Chunky Scrubbie Bar Sample in Love Me. Love My Chocolate, from Sugarelle after signing up for their newsletter.

What a great treat.

I’ve never used a scrubbie bar, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I did know that the bar had sugar inside to make it scrubby, but that’s about all.

I have to say that I liked the scent of Love Me. Love My Chocolate (which is currently out of stock), but it smelled like peanut butter to me.

Of course that week DH accused me of thinking everything smelled like peanut butter, so it might have been just me.

The scrub was a little scrubbier than I expected, of course I would have known that if I looked at the description before I used it.

I was surprised at how much sugar was in the bar - I knew there would be sugar, but I didn’t know there would be that much sugar.

I did use most of the sample bar during one shower, because there’s so much sugar that the sample bar crumbled easily. I don’t think that the crumbling would be as much of a problem with a larger bar, but I’m not sure.

I was really impressed with the quality of the chunky scrubbie bar, but I do think it’s a bit too much exfoliation for my skin.

However, I love the names of Sugarelle’s scents - Maiden of Lost Ocean Souls, Clarity of the Green Beams or Vanilla Pearls and Tango Swirls anyone?

Bath Pockets from Vintage Body Spa

Bath PocketAs soon as I saw “body mud” I know I had to feature these Bath Pockets, $8, from Vintage Body Spa.

HOW TO USE: Place the entire pocket in your warm running bath water. After entering your bath, take the bath pocket and gently squeeze to allow all of the soothing ingredients to flow through the pocket. Release the Bath Pocket ™ and allow it to float and steep during your bath. For an added bonus at the end of your bath, simply unbutton the pocket and remove the packet inside. Tear off a corner and squeeze out the remaining ingredients for a perfect ‘mud’ to massage into your feet and legs. Simply rinse and toss the interior packet.

Don’t they sound like fun?
